We write love stories, love songs, love poems, and love letters. We sing and make movies and paint. We love talking about love. Yet, how does the art and writing of love connect to the broader human experience?

In this experimental event blending readings, visuals, art, and interactive elements, Daryl Li dissects his literary work to explore how literature and art can also go beyond the cloying and the cruel, beyond the pleading and the pain.

From ideas about language, identity, otherness, time, and catastrophe to the breaking down of the writing itself, A fool rushing in. is a study in what we talk about when we talk about love.
